Role Purpose and Overview
The purpose of the Administration Assistant – Sport is to provide high quality and efficient administration, organisation and operational support to the Sport Department. The role will be a critical part of the team responsible for the ongoing organisation, planning, preparation and operational management of all sport programs offered.
It is responsible for all aspects of registration for co-curricular sport programs across K-12 and coordinates the administrative functions related to coaching staff and external suppliers and providers.
There is an expectation that excellent, accurate and timely correspondence and customer service will be provided to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
The position also contributes to administrative support services at the School and the maintenance of a positive internal culture where service, integrity and humour are valued.
As with all support staff positions, this role is central to the operation of the School and supports student learning. All of our support and operations staff have a firm commitment to their own professional learning. They support the values of the School and work together with the academic staff to ensure the highest educational standards.

Hours of work
Permanent, full time, Monday to Friday, up to 38 hours per week. The daily hours will be negotiated with the Director of Sport and Performance, depending on the needs of the students and the School. The School will average the employee’s payment of wages and the rates will be paid in equal instalments throughout the year
All annual leave should be taken during non-term time.
You will be expected to attend and contribute to all staff professional development days and requirements as outlined in the School’s calendar
